Many people are surprised by the physical strain of typical snowshoe tours. We wondered if there was a more casual and accessible way to experience a snowy forest. With that in mind, we developed a plan that offers a short but "authentic snowy forest experience" (although that may sound a bit exaggerated, lol), with no climbing, a physically less strenuous experience, and a stroll-like feel. The tour is quite leisurely, taking place in under 1.5 hours (though fast adults can complete it in about an hour). While the tour is stroll-like in duration and distance, you'll still experience a realistic and authentic forest. While taking photos and other activities, we hope you enjoy a short trek through a genuine snowy forest. *Please note* You'll be walking in snow, so please wear shoes suitable for walking in snow. (You can't walk in snow in regular shoes) I think the easiest way to move around is with ski wear and rubber boots (see photos of participants). Rubber boots that keep your toes warm (you can wear them as they are, but it will be more comfortable if you put in warm insoles, even simple ones sold at 100 yen stores. It is also better if the boots are long so that snow doesn't get in. If the snow is very deep, we will rent snowshoes for free, so I think it would be best to participate in snow boots or rubber boots.) ★What is a fat bike? It is a mountain bike that evolved for the purpose of riding on snow. On this tour, you will be cycling along snow-white ski slopes. There is no such thing as ``slipping or brake failure'' that everyone tends to worry about! The reason for this is that the tire width is about 12cm, which means it has a large footprint on the snow, and it is equipped with a disc brake, which is the same system as a car. Our fat bikes are stocked with popular models from top bicycle manufacturers, and are maintained in good condition by our guides who are qualified bicycle safety mechanics.
