"Black Water Shower Caving" is the only activity in Japan, and it is a new play that combines the appeal of two activities: the exhilaration of shower climbing, where you enjoy playing in the water while going up the valley, and the excitement of caving, where you use your whole body to progress through the darkness of the cave. You can enjoy the calm and beautiful valley while playing with the water, sometimes going up the river with the water up to your face, sometimes crawling forward while being hit by the water current, and going down the water slide where the rocks pass by your face. There are views that will soothe your soul! There is also excitement that will make your heart flutter! Even people who are not good at sports can participate, but it is not a monotonous tour where you follow behind the guide! Based on the guide's advice, you can think for yourself and conquer the course in your own way, such as "Should I go in first, feet first, or first head first to go through the gap between the rocks?" This is a mine tour and nature experience tour in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, on a buggy. This tour will take you around the vast 250,000 square meter mine in a new buggy introduced in February 2025. You can enjoy the highlights of the mine, the rocks that are collected, and the native plants. This may be the only "extraordinary space" that active families and couples can enjoy in Japan. Legacy and Innovation ~ Continuation and Challenge ~ With the SDGs and carbon neutrality being called for, it is not unreasonable to see mines as environmental destroyers. However, our company, which is engaged in mountain regeneration, opens the mountain during the closed period and wants people to know the current situation and efforts. With that in mind, we have implemented various efforts. Our mine mines mine raw materials and develop quarries for pottery, tiles, concrete materials, and landscaping. The role of mines has changed with the times. However, this place still has stories to be passed down and hidden charms. This may be the only experience in the country where you can feel the breath of the mine again and experience its history. As more and more mines are closing, we are taking on the challenge of bringing new light to the area. This means continuing to run with respect for the past and hope for the future. We will weave a new story about the mine together with the buggy.
