This area is crisscrossed with the approach to Kanazakura Shrine and daily life roads, and there is an old mountain path called "Mugizaka Road". This is a new mountain bike tour that uses this road as the stage, where you can put your mountain bike on the Shosenkyo Ropeway and enjoy a trail ride from the top of the mountain. Once you get on the ropeway, it's only a 5-minute ride to the summit station. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps mountain range. Experience the ancient roads that connect rich nature and history with ease and exhilaration on the latest E-MTB (electrically assisted mountain bike). Mount Rakanji is one of the 100 famous mountains in Yamanashi Prefecture, and is located on the right bank of Shosenkyo Gorge, boasting the most beautiful valley in Japan, with an altitude of 1,058 meters. It is a collective name for three peaks including Mount Yasaburo. The well-maintained mountain trail is easy to climb even for beginners, and from the summit you can see a spectacular view of Mount Fuji, the Southern Alps, Mount Kayagatake, and Mount Okuchichibu.
