4時間にわたり製鉄の内容や刀製作との関連を説明いただき 実際の製鉄作業をやりました。刀1本に必要な玉鋼の量の多さ、鋼の選別やその後の多くの工程から、刀への価値観も変わりました。ワークショップ専用スペースでもワークショップ用キットでの造作でもなく、日頃刀匠やお弟子さんたちが実際に使っている炉や道具をそのまま使わせてくれたのが非常に良かったですしいい緊張感も味わえました。天気にも恵まれ、親切にご指導頂き感謝しています。

先日は大変お世話になりました。 大満足な時間でした! 友達familyと一緒に体験させて頂きましたが、予約の時点で質問があり、電話をした際もご主人がとても丁寧に対応して下さいました。また、予約もゴールデンウィーク前になってしまい混雑の中無理を言って時間を作って下さいました。お陰で最高のゴールデンウィークが過ごせました♡ 子供達4人の茶娘衣装も奥様が丁寧にテキパキと着せて下さり、茶畑へ行けば富士山の見える広い茶畑で茶摘みを楽しむ事ができました! 戻ってからも子供達にお茶の入れ方などを教えて下さり、大人でも知らない事があり、勉強になりました! 料理のレシピも教えて頂き、帰ってから天ぷらとご飯に混ぜて食べたら美味しかったです! 娘は夏休みの自由研究にしよーかなと言っていました! おもてなしが素敵で、とても温かいご家族が経営されているので、お話しているだけで温かい気持ちになりました! 櫻井製茶さんを選んで本当に良かったです。茶摘みを探している方がいたらオススメです!!!

It was my first time trying hand weaving with a handloom, and I absolutely loved the process! The rhythmic and focused nature of weaving was therapeutic, and I felt a sense of deep satisfaction upon completing my first textile piece. The instructor was patient and encouraging, providing valuable guidance throughout the process. I was also amazed by the vast array of stunning textile works on display at the workshop. Each piece showcased the creativity and skill of the artisans, and it was truly inspiring to see such a diverse collection of weaving techniques!

日本刀の製作に興味があり数年前から体験できるところを探していましたが、コロナ禍でなかなか機会がありませんでした。 やっと規制緩和になったことから本格的に探して、刀匠正也さんで体験をさせていただくことになりました。 当日は雨になり、送り迎えをしていただけて本当に助かりました。 日本刀作りに関する知識はありましたが、やはり実際に説明を受けながら自分で工程を進めていく中で体験しないとわからないことがたくさんありました。繰り返しの作業や細かな細工(銘切りや焼き入れ、やすりがけや研ぎなど)への集中が求められ、根気とセンスが必要だと感じました。 体験前は一日の作業は長いと思っていましたが、あっという間に過ぎてしまいました。 とても丁寧にご指導いただき、ありがとうございました。
