This is the most popular tour held from autumn to spring. A tour to search for aquatic insects around several forests and streams (spring water points) on an electric bicycle with front and rear child seats. Free rental of waders is available from autumn to spring. Please bring marine shoes in summer. Search for rhinoceros beetle larvae in the forest and stag beetle larvae in the trees. This year-round event features observations of forest insects (larvae from fall to spring), followed by a river wildlife adventure for parents and children. On the day, meet at the designated meeting point and rent a Panasonic electric bicycle (with front and rear child seats; 20-inch and 24-inch mountain bikes are available for older elementary school students). Put on gloves and dig through the grass and turn over stones to catch fish and crayfish. Springs and cold waters are stationary, so you can even catch them with your bare hands. Targets include turtles, frogs, catfish, mitten crabs, striped shrimp, Japanese swamp shrimp, American crayfish, dung goby, Japanese loach, Japanese pit viper, Japanese minnow, Japanese river snail, Taiwanese clam, dragonfly nymph, and river insects.
