Affordable prices that allow you to casually try on a yukata. A full set of Japanese clothing (yukata, obi, Japanese bag, geta sandals, hairpin) and a standard hair set are included. You can choose from simple colors and patterns for your yukata. *We offer free umbrella rentals on rainy days. Please feel free to come. *We do not have children's kimonos available at the Tachikawa Station store. Thank you for your understanding.
After checking in, you will be taken to a special dressing area to begin dressing. Our staff will quickly help you put on your kimono, from your undergarments to your obi. After you have put on your kimono, we will do a hair set (free of charge). Your hair will be tied up simply and accented with a gorgeous hairpin or corsage. We also offer options such as braiding to enhance your yukata look.
Bring the necessary accessories for a purse that fits your yukata, and you're done. In addition to drawstring purses, we also rent out large drawstring basket bags (for a fee). We cannot keep valuables, so please bring them in a purse.
When you're ready, enjoy a walk and a meal. Please feel free to ask our staff about recommended places. Please return items at least 30 minutes before closing time. As an option, we also accept returns on the same day at another store.
