Time schedule
Reception Please arrive at the meeting time. The person who applied for the tour will submit the liability waiver form for all tour participants at the reception desk and then pay the bill.
Change of clothes/equipment We will provide you with all the equipment you need for your rafting tour.
Move to the starting point We will travel by car while talking about rafting.
Safety explanation To ensure a safe tour, we will explain basic rescue methods and river signs for rafting at the starting point of Okutama Mitake.
Rafting start You can enjoy rapids rafting in the natural surroundings of the Tama River that spreads out before you with a professional guide to keep you excited.
Rapids experience You can enjoy rafting to your heart's content while getting splashed with the thrilling rapids.
Diving experience During the tour, you can also experience diving. It's a thrilling experience. A dive from 8m high will get your adrenaline pumping.

Warm-up exercises and athletics training After enjoying the rafting tour, we took a group photo.
Rafting goal & lunch We pose for a group photo. We get in the car and head back to the base. It's lunch time when we get back to the base. Please take a rest and prepare for the afternoon.

Hydro Speed Start Once everyone has practiced repeatedly and learned how to operate the board, it's time to get started.
basic practice Basically, the guide will lead you to a point with a strong current while you practice.
Applied Practice After about five practice sessions, you will be able to make turns and become familiar with the flow of the river.
Challenge the rapids Once you get good at turning and swinging, try tackling rapids.
Relax There are also spots where you can relax and unwind. Let yourself go with the beautiful current and spend some relaxing time.

A tour leader always accompanies each rafting tour to ensure safety. Rafting guides hold the International License WRT. Rafting tour guides, canyoning tour guides, and tour leader guides for all tours organized by River One are regularly trained in rapids rescue techniques. They also hold the Okutama Canyoning Technical Rope Rescue Qualification and Rescue 3 International License. Rafting and canyoning tour leaders hold Wilderness First Aid (resuscitation) qualifications.
