[Yokohama] English guided SUP tour to enjoy the city of Yokohama and the Canal (2 hour course)

This is an English SUP school & tour for foreigners. We provide small group and thorough lectures for those who have SUP experience as well as those who are trying it for the first time. The port city of Yokohama has a long history of development due to its port and canals. In addition, before World War II, this area had many military facilities, factories, and shipyards. After the war, the shipyards were reclaimed, and vast business towns, high-rise residential areas, large shopping malls, urban ropeways, and more were formed. In addition, the civil engineering heritage that formed the foundation of the port city of Yokohama is actively preserved and utilized, and you can enjoy a SUP tour while touring these places. We also recommend a SUP tour while viewing the world-famous Sakura. The Ooka River that connects to the port is a famous spot for Sakura. A Sakura SUP tour on the Ooka River when the flowers are in full bloom will be a special experience. We also offer tours for groups and rental of megaSUPs that can accommodate six people, so even those who cannot swim can participate. Please contact us.

City rivers and canals are less affected by wind and do not create waves. The water surface is always flat, making it the perfect slope for beginners to practice on. Even if you fall into the water, you will be safe because you are wearing a life jacket. The water is cleaner than you might think and there are many fish. It's not dirty, so please feel free to join us. Families with children can also participate with peace of mind. Experienced instructors who are familiar with Yokohama will provide support and guidance.

Mizubeso's home slope, Ooka River, is one of Yokohama's most famous cherry blossom spots. When the cherry blossoms are in bloom, the river is at its busiest. This SUP tour takes you up the Ooka River, lined with rows of cherry trees, and allows you to enjoy cherry blossom viewing. It's a fantastic experience. It's also fun to ride across the cherry blossom storm and pink carpet on a SUP as the cherry blossoms begin to fall. There are few boats sailing on weekday mornings, so it's easy for parents and children to participate, and even those who are not very used to rowing. On weekends, the boats are very crowded with people who want to enjoy cherry blossom viewing, so we welcome participants who can control their boards well. In addition, beginners who are new to SUP or are inexperienced can take beginner lessons only in the early morning when there are fewer boats. Alternatively, you can rent a megaSUP for a group for safety. Private tours for groups are also available, so please contact us. The best time to see the flowers is expected to be around March 27th to April 8th.

You can use the clubhouse located in front of the pier where you enter the river. Separate changing rooms for men and women, toilets, showers, and lockers are available.
