Plan description

A journey to connect with Japan's origins and shape its future - a special experience connecting with traditional culture, nature, and the local community - this plan is a special experiential program that allows you to experience Japan's traditional culture and abundant nature while also participating in regional revitalization. A unique journey awaits you, visiting villages where Japan's original landscape remains, including Mount Shosha, shrouded in history and tranquility, and weaving the "future" together with local people. 1. Visit Mount Shosha and Engyo-ji Temple. Your journey begins at Mount Shosha, a sacred mountain located in the western part of Himeji City. Heading to the top of the mountain by cable car, you will find Engyo-ji Temple, a renowned Tendai Buddhist temple with over a thousand years of history. While touring the temple complex surrounded by deep forests, you will experience the history and spiritual culture of Japanese Buddhism and spend some time at peace and tranquilizing your mind. 2. Visiting Japan's Original Landscape and Shrines. After Mount Shosha, we will travel approximately 30 minutes by car to a village where traditional rural scenery and a shrine still cherished today remain. In a nostalgic and relaxing landscape, you can experience the harmony with nature and local history that Japanese people have cultivated. 3. Participate in local revitalization efforts. This region is experiencing a declining birthrate and aging population, and the local elementary school is facing the threat of closure. This tour is part of the "Village Revitalization Project," which aims to revitalize the region through tourism. Your participation itself will help support the future of the region; this is a meaningful journey. 4. Experience traditional Japanese culture. After lunch, we move to a different location for a cultural experience. You can watch traditional performing arts, such as Japanese dance, shamisen, koto, and shakuhachi, which change daily. Experience the depth and beauty of Japanese culture through sound, movement, and mannerisms with all five senses. 5. Sake Brewery Tour and Sake Tasting. Finish your trip with a visit to a local sake brewery. Learn about the process and history of sake production while tasting carefully crafted sake. A cup of sake, filled with the local water, rice, and people's passion, will leave you with a lasting memory of your trip. 6. A "participatory journey" that goes beyond sightseeing. This tour is not just a sightseeing visit. It is a journey where you learn about Japanese traditions and local culture, get involved, and participate in creating the future. Every step you take will support the village's future. It will be a special experience that will allow you to come into contact with the essence of Japan and connect with the local community. Please join us in this "village revitalization project."

Active participation in village revitalization

This tour is not just a sightseeing trip, but an opportunity to actively participate in revitalizing the village.
