Side dishes and soup made with local ingredients are also included. Opening hours: 10:00-13:00 each day
The instructor of the "Onigiri Workshop" will be Akiko Muraoka. She is a master chef born and raised in Fujisato Town and the owner of the guesthouse Damakkoya. You will make onigiri using ingredients from Shirakami, including wild plants that Akiko picked herself.

Onigiri Workshop: Cooking rice in a clay pot The rice for the onigiri is made from Akita Komachi rice grown in the instructor's rice field and cooked in a clay pot. *In the winter, the cooking is done indoors.
Use your favorite ingredients from a wide range of options In the onigiri workshop, the instructor will prepare a variety of ingredients.
Add your favorite side dishes to complete your bento The size of the rice balls, the choice of side dishes. They're all different and all good.
Come on, enjoy! The side dishes and ingredients change depending on the season. A special soup is also included.
