Plan description

The Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater will be hosting a performance where you can enjoy a competition between different schools of Noh. This year's competition is Noh! You can enjoy a luxurious collaboration between Izumi-ryu, one of the two major schools of Noh, and Kurokawa Noh, a folk art form from Yamagata Prefecture. In addition to the performance of Noh by each school, there will also be a discussion between Noh actors from both schools! Please come and take advantage of this rare opportunity.

It is a rare opportunity to see two schools of Kyogen performed in one performance. Compare the differences between the schools and discover new charms of Kyogen.

The venue is located right next to Kenrokuen Garden, and there are plenty of sightseeing and cultural facilities in the area!

The venue, Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre, is located within walking distance of Kenrokuen Garden, a famous tourist spot in Ishikawa Prefecture, as well as numerous cultural facilities such as the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History. The Kanazawa Noh Museum, which displays Noh masks and costumes and also offers courses and experiences, is also within walking distance! Be sure to stop by during your sightseeing trip to Kanazawa!

20-30 minutes from Kanazawa-Nishi IC or Morimoto IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. Please use the Cultural Facilities Shared First Parking Lot (Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre Parking Lot / 128 spaces). *Please note that there is a limit to the number of parking spaces. If the parking lot is full, please use a nearby paid parking lot. If you are using a large bus, please contact Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre in advance.
