You will taste three types of sake, then enjoy sake with dried snacks. First, there will be an explanation of the history of Nakatani Sake Brewery, rice polishing, and the three types of sake. The snacks are roasted black beans, Dried cod with sesame paste, and Dried Seaweed. After the sake tasting, you can observe the brewery's exhibits at any time.

15:00 Introduction, History of Nakatani Sake Brewery.
15:05 Explanation of rice polishing process and its purpose (while looking at actual polished raw rice).
15:10 Explanation of the difference and the recommended order of tasting the three types of Sake.
15:15 Sake tasting the three types of sake in order.
15:30 Enjoy the Sake and tour the brewery's exhibits freely.
Ends at 16:00 (If the event starts at 16:00, it will end one hour later at 17:00.)
The experience takes place in a traditional sake brewery with an open ceiling, where you can see the brewing area through glass and there are fascinating exhibits. After the sake tasting, you can enjoy your sake in the garden.

Matters require attention | Since this is a sake tasting event, you must have a clear sense of taste, so people who are under the influence of alcohol will not be able to participate. |

Other notifications | As drinking is part of the sake tasting, the amount of sake served will be limited to 300ml per person. Accompanying persons who are under drinking age will be required to pay an admission fee of 300 yen (including tax) to enter the brewery. The admission fee includes one soft drink or bottle of water. |
Brewery entrance There is a willow tree planted in front of the entrance, in reference to the place name Yanagimachi.
Atrium This is the structure of a traditional sake brewery.
1st floor exhibits A wooden box (a tool used for pressing), a paddle (a stirring rod), a koji lid (a box for growing koji), a motooke (a barrel for making the yeast starter), and a fermentation jar (a 15th century Bizen ware).
Exhibits on the 2nd floor A bridal basket used by the wife of the second generation of Nakatani’s Brewery in 1871, a cedar ball, and a jar to collect sake from the wooden box used for pressing.
Nakatani Sake Brewery Headquarters It was built in 1856 (Ansei 3rd year).
