Tsuyama Castle, which boasts over 100,000 visitors at the Tsuyama Cherry Blossom Festival and Tsuyama Castle Momiji Festival, was specially rented out to host the first ever Tsuyama Castle Dinner (cultural experience, historical lecture, and dinner party). Keiji Takeuchi, who has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for 10 consecutive years, and Teruyoshi Saito, owner and chef of the French restaurant Hortensia, created a special menu for this dinner party using local ingredients. In addition to providing local food such as Tsuyama's meat-eating culture (Tsuyama Wagyu beef), the special content will include hospitality by the Sengoku warlords, including the first lord of Tsuyama Castle, Tadamasa Mori, traditional Japanese dance, and fireworks, making for a special experience. The event will also include a tour of the art exhibition venue of the Mori Art Festival, which is being held during the event, and a stay at The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa, a high-value-added accommodation with hot springs, or the castle town lodge Kojiya, which can be rented as a whole.
Tsuyama Castle, which boasts over 100,000 visitors for the Tsuyama Cherry Blossom Festival and Tsuyama Castle Momiji Festival, will be specially rented out for the first ever Tsuyama Castle Dinner (cultural experience, historical lecture, and dinner party). A special menu for this dinner party using local ingredients will be prepared by chef Keiji Takeuchi, who has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for 10 consecutive years. The dinner party will be a special event, with hospitality from the Sengoku Warlords' Corps, including the first lord of Tsuyama Castle, Lord Tadamasa Mori, and traditional Japanese dance and fireworks.
A historical tour and lecture will be held in the Joto and Josai areas, which are important historical districts. There will also be a speech at the Tsuyama Castle dinner party, making it a valuable experience to learn about the history of Tsuyama.
