Plan description

This is a four-day, three-night training trip where you can make a small knife under the direct guidance of swordsmith Shohei Fujiyasu. Through this training experience, you will learn about the beauty and spirit that resides in Japanese swords, and the small knife you make yourself using the same process as a Japanese sword using tamahagane, the material used for Japanese swords, will be a one-of-a-kind treasure.

A guide-interpreter will accompany you.

You will travel by taxi from the meeting point/hotel to the experience site (Fujian Swordsmithing Workshop).

Stay at Hotel Sankyo Fukushima near Fukushima Station

It is close to the station and downtown, so you can enjoy dinner as you like.

Dress code - Must bring items	During the forging experience, holes may be made due to fire sparks, and charcoal powder may stain the pot. Please wear or bring your own clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
