Cruising tour with the first outrigger canoe (hereinafter referred to as OC) in Mikawa Bay An outrigger canoe is a canoe that has a floating material (outrigger) on one side of the canoe to prevent it from tipping over, and the width of the canoe is only about as wide as a person's butt. It is a marine activity where you can reach considerable speed and ride the waves like surfing. Enjoy an exhilarating cruising experience that is a little different from SUP.

Safe for beginners

First, we will give a thorough lecture on sea conditions, how to row, how to recover, etc. on land, and then at sea, we will have a lecture inside Nishiura Marina Port, where there is less influence from waves and winds. After about 30 minutes of lectures on both land and sea, it was time to go cruising! First of all, please enjoy the 4km round trip voyage (^^)/

Complete after-sales follow-up

Mikawa Bay is dotted with uninhabited islands and beaches. We start with a 4km round trip and progress from 8km to 15km, changing the destination depending on the sea conditions that day and the customer's level and wishes. If you are able to row together about a 15km round trip from Nishiura to Kira Waikiki Beach in the neighboring town, then rent a boat and try rowing by yourself or with a friend.

Up to extreme tours for intermediate and advanced users

In the summer, when a typhoon approaches, if the conditions are right, waves will form in Nishiura, and you can enjoy outrigger canoe surfing. Also, in winter, when the westerly wind blows strongly, it is possible to take a cruising tour in Mikawa Bay by catching the wind properly and riding from wave to wave!
