Plan description

We will conduct a monitor tour for the purpose of planning and developing a new SDGs-type education program. During the tour, Waseda University students act as tour guides and guide students around the university campus where they usually spend their time, as well as shopping malls lined with restaurants that satisfy students' appetites. In the future, we plan to disseminate this tour both domestically and internationally as an example of students and the local community (shopping association) working on sustainable town development. We would like to ask everyone who participated to provide us with their opinions in order to make the program even better. Please join us and give us your advice to improve the quality of our tours.

Okuma Memorial Auditorium It was completed in 1927 and has been designated as a national important cultural property. This is an auditorium that symbolizes Waseda University.

Mumon Gate The gate symbolizes that Waseda University is an open university that does not turn away anyone who wants to learn.

Okuma Shigenobu bronze statue This is a bronze statue of Professor Shigenobu Okuma, the founder of Waseda University. She is wearing a ``gown'' as befits a university.

Waseda University Theater Museum This museum was built in 1928 by Shoyo Tsubouchi and displays a large number of materials related to theater.
