Fun for everyone, from children! ★Starry sky commentary by an Ishigaki City certified guide included! "Yaeyama Hime firefly" only lives on Ishigaki Island and Iriomote Island. When spring arrives in Yaeyama (around March to June), they display beautiful lights as part of their courtship behavior for a limited time only. On this tour, you will depart for the forest where the Yaeyama Hime firefly live around 7pm when the sun starts to set! After the lights start to appear one by one, countless fireflies begin to light up one after another, and the forest is enveloped in a truly fantastical space. This tour is highly recommended for those visiting Ishigaki in the spring♪

Enjoy firefly observation and starry sky observation at the same time!

Once the firefly observation is over, it's time for the stars to start to look beautiful! We move to an open area, where an official Ishigaki City stargazing guide will use a laser pointer to explain the starry sky! Our company is the only one where you can enjoy stargazing with an official guide! We will also teach you how to take beautiful photos of the stars with your smartphone! *If the stars cannot be seen due to bad weather, the tour will only include firefly observation.

During the firefly season, large shops gather at the famous firefly dancing spot, and up to 100 people can watch the fireflies! Aren't there more humans than fireflies? We will pick you up at each hotel! Pick-up time from each hotel is between 18:45 and 19:15. (Depending on participation period, hotel location, etc.)

Arrived at the secret dance spot found by the guide! All you can hear is the chirping of birds, and wait patiently for the fireflies to appear! When one firefly begins to glow, the surrounding fireflies also begin to glow, creating a natural illumination! After observing for about 30 minutes, we moved to a spot where we could see the stars beautifully!

I was very impressed by the starry sky! Ishigaki Island is the first place in Japan to be designated as a starry sky sanctuary! We will stargaze for about 10 minutes and then transfer you to each hotel! Arrival at the hotel will be between 20:00 and 20:30.
