Charm of Awaji ~Parche Kaori no Yakata Course~] Awaji Island, where fragrant wood was first introduced to Japan, is now a local industry for incense sticks and incense, and boasts the highest production volume in Japan. After seeing various exhibits related to fragrance at the “Parche Kaoru no Yakata”, a facility with the theme of fragrance, you can experience making incense. Afterwards, we will visit a demonstration experiment site where herbs are grown in a medium made from recycled polyester fibers. "Awaji" town walking tour

This is a tour where you can walk around the town with a guide staff and discover and enjoy the charms unique to the area, such as the culture, history, climate, and industry of Awaji Island. A local guide will guide you to famous places that are familiar to the locals, and will also tell you about special experiences and information not found in guidebooks. The walking area is about 1 km radius from the meeting place. After meeting with the guide staff, it is departure. The time is about 1 to 2 hours, so it's easy to incorporate it into your travel plan and you can participate casually.

"House of Parche Fragrance" A complex facility with the theme of fragrance. There are also exhibits related to scents and a corner where you can actually smell various scents such as herbs and spices. There are also cafes and hot spring facilities.

Incense making experience You can enjoy making your own original incense by adding your favorite fragrance to a mixture of sandalwood and tab powder, kneading it, then cutting it out with a mold or molding it.
