Plan description

This is an authentic ikebana lesson, a flower arrangement which is counted as one of the three major Japanese traditional arts of refinement.
The venue is a long-established flower shop with a history of 70 years, which is located in a busy district of Hiroshima lined with many department stores. Currently the venue offers 46 culture classes in ikebana and tea ceremony.
There is a huge flower shop downstairs of the classroom, so our lesson starts from selecting flowers and you may choose
colors and types of flowers with an instructor.
The venue is easy to access, so you can experience Japanese culture during your tour in Hiroshima if time permits between your sightseeing programs.
Our school is very convenient to take an ikebana lesson in your preferred time, as we have many instructors and each instructor conducts
several classes everyday from morning to the evening except Sundays.

Enjoy ikebana as well as its porcelain vase, a unique art available only in Japan.

Attractive teachers

There are several schools of ikebana. The instructors in this class are also attractive teachers with different school licenses, such as "Ikenobo style", "Ohara style", "Mishoryu style", and "Sogetsu style". Even if the school is different, the purpose of ikebana is to express Japanese beauty, keep flowers alive, and give life. Please enjoy yourself.

Plan flow 1

① Meeting * Please gather 15 minutes in advance. ② The instructor will briefly explain the theme of today's flower arrangement. ③ Select the flower material at the flower shop. ④ We will keep the flowers alive under the guidance of the instructor. * We will also explain how to use tools such as flower scissors, and how to "land" and "drain" to adjust the condition of the cut end of the stem. ⑤ When you finish living, the instructor will give a comment. ⑥ Finished with a commemorative photo shoot and disbanded.

★ At the flower shop at the experience venue, just looking at the abundant Japanese flowers "flowers", trees "branches", and leaves "leafy" that arrive and line up every morning is a valuable experience and you will get tired of seeing it. It's so much fun. ★ To commemorate your experience, you can get a cute and beautiful paper crane decoration as a souvenir! ★ You can take your own flowers with you. ★ English interpreter is included.
