Plan description

Tour code: A2-KM01-000501 This is a horseback riding experience in the magnificent grasslands of Aso, overlooking the Aso Godake, Kuju mountain range, and Sobo-Katamuki mountain range. With a circumference of 4km and a 360-degree panorama on the stage, you can enjoy the comfort of horse riding and the sense of unity that you cannot experience with a pulling horse. The Indian course is a walking course of about 1km. You can see various seasonal plants as you pass through the valley. Relax and ride a horse first.

With a safe guide

A professional guide will guide you from lessons to tours. This tour is conducted with fully trained horses, so anyone can participate with confidence. You can challenge from a child with a height of about 120 cm (approximate for the first grade of elementary school) ♪

If you arrive by car

1. From Kyushu Expressway, Kumamoto IC → National Highway 57 → Turn left at the intersection in front of JR Miyaji Station → From Prefectural Road 11 “Yamanami Highway” → 2km from Shiroyama Observatory. 2. From the Oita Expressway, Hita IC → National Highway 212 → Tsuetate Onsen → Oguni → 7km from Daikanbo, around the “Yamanami Highway” → 2km to the right. 3. From Yufuin or Beppu, take the "Yamanami Highway" at the base of Route 210 "Moisture Pass" toward Kumamoto 49km 4. From Kurokawa Onsen, take Route 442 7km toward Kuju / Taketa → turn right at Semoto Kogen → 12km toward Kumamoto

If you arrive by train

Get off at "Miyaji Station" on the JR Hohi Main Line from both directions, Kumamoto, Beppu, and Oita. About 15 minutes by taxi.

If you arrive by other means of transportation

By plane From Aso Kumamoto Airport, take the limited express bus bound for Oita for about 60 minutes. Get off at "Miyaji Station" on the JR Hohi Main Line. About 15 minutes by taxi.
