Based on the concept of "playing in Satoyama," Kitamoto Forest Therapy offers seasonal courses. Saitama Prefecture's first forest therapy field, located an hour and a half from the city center, has been certified as Saitama Prefecture's first forest therapy base where you can easily enjoy guided tours, forest bathing, and activities set in Satoyama! By combining forest bathing on a full-scale therapy road and activities at the base facility, you can easily enjoy a full-fledged "journey only for you". The experience of Kitamoto Forest Therapy will help many people come into contact with the forest and receive the effects of the forest so that they can maintain their physical and mental health. Hoping for that, we are guiding you.

What is forest therapy?

It is a forest bath backed by scientific grounds aimed at maintaining and improving physical and mental health and preventing illness by utilizing the forest environment. This is an initiative that goes one step further from forest bathing to scientifically verify the effects of forests and utilize them for physical and mental health. Enjoy the feeling of stepping on the fallen leaves, the sound you hear when you touch the tree, and the scent of the forest. It is often referred to as "a step forward forest bath".

Kitamoto Nature Observation Park

Kitamoto Nature Observation Park, where the therapy road is located, is just a short bus ride from the station! A treasure trove of creatures where various animals and plants live on the site of seven Tokyo Domes. You can enjoy a full-scale walk even if it is nearby. There is a visitor center in the park, and a nature learning instructor is stationed there. We will answer the highlights and various inquiries with detailed guidance.

If you arrive by car

10 minutes from "Okegawa Kitamoto IC" on the Ken-O Expressway 100 parking lots, large buses available (reservation required)

If you arrive by train

Get off at "Kitamoto Station" on the JR Takasaki Line, take the Kawagoe sightseeing bus bound for "Kitasato University Medical Center", and walk for 3 minutes from the "Natural Observation Park" bus stop.
