Plan description

This is an initiative in the village area to alleviate concentrated tourism in Yakushima's mountainous areas. Enjoy nature while walking along the 180m long aerial corridor that does not damage the forest floor. After exploring nature in a new way (before), enjoy a special lunch made with plenty of Yakushima vegetables. Please enjoy it on the popular terrace "Red Carpet".

A new version of the Canopy Walk where forest friends talk to you when you walk on the tree with a hearable device! , The natural character is played by a member of the theater club of a local high school. We are contributing to SDG's through efforts in the village area to ease intensive tourism in the mountains of Yakushima. After (before) a new sense of nature exploration, a special lunch using plenty of vegetables from Yakushima. Please enjoy on the popular terrace "Red Carpet".

Plan attractions

Canopy walk experience Treetop experience with a total length of 180m. Nature watching is kind to nature because it circulates in the air without walking on the forest floor.

Crown entrance The canopy forest is 150m above sea level. The entrance to the Canopy Walk experience is also used for starry sky watching.

Wearing a hearable device Everywhere you walk, your friends in the forest will talk to you through special earphones. Members of the drama club of the local high school cooperate in performing.
