Plan description

This is a river tour in a kayak for 2-3 people on a course of about 5 km of the clear waters of the Hiki River in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture. This is a tour where you can fully enjoy the great outdoors while surrendering yourself to the slowly flowing Hiki River. It can be enjoyed by families, couples, and friends. It is a safe course, so children from about 7 years old to about 70 years old can participate. Feel free to give it a try! We will teach beginners carefully! ~Schedule of the day~ 10:00 Meet at Yasui Ferry, put on live jackets, explanation of how to paddle a kayak and safety precautions 10:10 Departure → Paddle out into the clear waters of the Hiki River 1 hour to 1 hour and a half depending on the water level of the river 11:30 Arrival → We will take you to the starting point by car

Enjoy at your own pace!

A two-seater kayak slowly goes down the river for about 1 to 2 hours on a course of about 5 km. You can move forward at your own pace according to the flow.

Q. ２２日の月曜日にアメリカ人の家族３名でカヌー体験を予定したいとおもっています。ゴール地点に私の車で迎えに行くということは可能でしょうか？ゴールは日置川河口の安宅橋あたりですか？

A. 到着地点の「たのいばし」に車を停めていただき、私どもの車に乗っていただき、出発地点「安居の渡し場」へ行きます。
約９０分５キロをカヤックで下ります。
たのいばしに到着したら解散です。
５月は、まだ水が冷たいので、ラッシュガードなど少し防寒着が必要です。
天気予報が土日が雨なので、増水すると催行出来ない可能性があります。
