Plan description

From Shiretoko Goko to Kamui Wacka Falls, there is a dirt road that passes through the primeval forest, and there are many encounters with wild animals. Hot spring water flowing from Mt. Iou, an active volcano, and the water temperature is about 30 ° C.

Enjoy without physical strength

A round trip of 11km forest road from Shiretoko Goko to Kamuiwakka Falls. It is a gravel road with many ups and downs, but you can enjoy it even if you do not have physical strength because you will use an eMTB (electrically assisted MTB). Adult eMTB is for people over 150cm tall and Child eMTB is for people over 135cm tall.

Dress code - Must bring items	Please wear clothes that are easy to exercise and can get dirty. Since there are many insects such as mosquitoes in summer, long sleeves and long pants are recommended.

In the primeval forest Most of the route is in deep primeval forest. You can cycle while bathing in the forest.

Superb view point The field of view opens in places, and you can enjoy a wonderful view.

eMTB Electric assist and full suspension MTB allows you to ride comfortably on any rough road.

Hot spring waterfall Kamuiwakka Falls is fed by warm hot spring water. If you don't add the Fourth Falls option, you can just see the waterfall and go home, but if you add the option, you can climb the stream and go close to the source of the spring.

Climbing the Fourth Falls After about 30 minutes of climbing, you can reach the source of the spring, where the water temperature is 35 to 40°C. There are some steep slopes in places, so follow your guide's instructions and climb carefully.

If you arrive by train

Get off at Shiretoko Shari Station on the JR Semmo Line. About 50 minutes from Shari Bus Terminal on the Shari Bus Shiretoko Line. Change at the Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal and get off at Shiretoko Goko.
