* This tour is a tour of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' [Cultural Arts Profitability Enhancement Project].
We will introduce the Noh theater by the Kongo style Noh performers and provide you with a lesson experience. You can experience Noh through commentary and lessons at the Noh theater.
It is said to be "Mai Kongo", and it is a graceful and lively Kongo style. This is a valuable and luxurious course that Noh performers will introduce in an easy-to-understand manner, using Noh masks and Noh costumes, and experiencing chanting and watching dance.
This is a must-see for lovers as well as those who are watching Noh for the first time. Young Noh performers will guide you from the main stage of Kongo Nogakudo.
The Kongo style is one of the five schools of Noh shite, and originated from the Sarugaku-za Sakado-za, which served in Horyuji Temple in Nara It has reached the seat and the current Kongo style.
The Kongo style art style is called "Mai Kongo" because it has splendor and grace even in its dynamic and remarkable movements.
It is the only style in which the Soke lives in Kansai, while the 4th Soke of the 5th school is based in Tokyo
