Plan description

This is a SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) touring tour of Hida Kisogawa Quasi-National Park's canyon "Hisuikyo". After a simple paddle lesson, we will continue rowing into the unexplored canyon. See waterfalls pouring into rivers, admire massive rock walls and enjoy views that can only be reached from the water. Safe for SUP beginners! SUP experience on the lake

The Hida River (Kawabe Dam Lake) has almost no currents or waves, so even inexperienced people and those who are not good at exercise will soon be able to stand up and ride. Once you get used to handling the paddle, go SUP touring upstream to the canyon.

Topic as the Grand Canyon of Gifu!

The view from Tomiyama near the Hida River is a hot topic as "Gifu's Grand Canyon"! It is a SUP experience on a river that can be seen from Tomiyama. The gorge is a cliff with steep shores. Of course, this view can only be seen from the water. There is a secluded tributary at the end of the row, which is perfect as a lunch spot.

Easy access from Nagoya / Gero Onsen in about 1 hour

Kawabe Town in Gifu Prefecture can be reached in about an hour from Nagoya City or Toyota City. You can enjoy an unexplored SUP experience in the nearby area. In addition, it takes about 30 minutes to Inuyama Castle Town and about 1 hour to Gero Onsen, so you can enjoy it while sightseeing.
