Day One

13:05 Meet at Yamoto Station, Walking tour of town, Lesson about New Year in Japan, Break-time/tour of ‘Kurasshik-park’ centre, Try New Year calligraphy, experience making New Year decorations and shrine ornaments, Mochi (rice-cake) pounding and New Year cuisine cooking lesson, Prepare the New Year meal and eat! , 18:30 Check-in to Ryokan inn accommodation.

Day Two

09:00 head to ‘Kurasshik-park’ centre after breakfast, Experience wearing a kimono, Experience ‘Hatsumode’ – the first visit to a shrine for the New Year., Experience traditional game, change out of kimono, 11:40 Souvenir shopping time at ‘Antenna Shop Machindo’.
