■ What is Iaido?
Iaido is a martial art that originated from Jinsuke Shigenobu Hayashizaki about 450 Year ago. It has been developed as a technique to remove the sword when it is attacked by the enemy without removing the sword and to kill the enemy.
The era of war is over, and the characteristic of Iaido that can respond flexibly from a state not in battle sublimates to the spirit of "non-fighting technology" that does not unnecessarily hurt the opponent, and the enhanced one affects Bushido Has been given.
Iaido is used widely as a martial art that is used by both men and women of all ages to train their mind and body and to lead their daily lives because they use their mind and body reasonably.

Private lesson by Yoshihiro Abe

Based on the commentary, we will practice the mystery of Iaido, which boasts a history of more than 450 years. You can learn the meaning of Bushido and etiquette, and how to use the body and sword of a samurai on the battlefield. If you are interested in samurai, please experience it. In addition, we will teach you the training method "Shinburi Zen". It is effective in relieving lack of exercise and stress in daily life. Please learn and go home.

You can experience while being watched over by Hayashizaki Iai Shrine, the sacred place of Iaido.

The Iaido experience will be held at the Iaido Fukabukan Dojo. The dojo is located next to Iai Shrine, the number one shrine in Japan where the founder of Iaido, Hayashizaki Shigenobu, is enshrined. Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, is the birthplace of Hayashizaki Shigenobu and is known as the birthplace and sanctuary of Iaido.

You can experience it under the guidance of high-ranking instructors.

Instructors who have masters of Muso Shinden-ryu and swordsmanship will teach you kindly and politely from the beginning. You can learn and practice not only the technical aspects of Iaido, but also the actions that can be utilized in daily life, and the spirit of "non-fighting technology."
