Cultural Exchange Center in the precincts of Kanda Myojin Shrine

As part of the 1300th anniversary commemorative project of Kanda Myojin, the Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Hall "EDOCCO" has opened in the precincts of the shrine. The concept is "tradition and innovation". There are also goods and sweets that can only be purchased here, such as a divine bill awarding place, a cafe, and a souvenir shop in the hall decorated with art. B1F EDOCCO STUDIO holds various events from traditional culture to subculture as a spot where you can widely disseminate and experience Japanese traditional culture both domestically and internationally.

Kimono cosplay experience You can enjoy taking pictures by wearing geisha and maiko cosplay costumes. Please take a memorable one.

Calligraphy experience After explaining the basic form of calligraphy and setting an example, you will be asked to write your favorite characters with a brush and ink. We also have an option to write your favorite characters such as "heart", "samurai", "peace", and "soul" on a T-shirt and purchase them as souvenirs.

Origami experience Origami, which is made from square paper, is also an interesting play for foreign customers. In this workshop, you will actually learn how to fold and make a work.
