I want to find and feel the beauty of the mountains rather than adventure. This is a hiking experience where you can experience snowshoes or kanjikis. We have four courses available. In addition to the walking experience, we also have cafe time with tables and chairs made of snow. You can make snow sculpture art (snowmen), slide down the snowy slopes on your butt, and observe nature. You can observe forests and trees, and animal footprints and feces. (This may not be possible depending on the weather and conditions of the experience location). If you would like to observe Japanese serows, please let us know. We also accept students for nature observation training experiences during the snowy season. Please contact us two weeks in advance for groups of 8 or more. If you are a repeat visitor, we will take you to a different place from the last time. (Only if conditions permit) When making a reservation, please indicate whether you are a beginner, have experience several times in the past, or have experience every year, and we will take you to the best place (a place that suits your physical strength. Or, if it is sunny, a place with a view. If it is a blizzard, a safe place in the forest, etc.).
Observe nature with folk customs such as local history and legends, folk songs, and people's lives, find footprints of animals such as antelopes, rabbits, and foxes, hike quiet forests, marshes designated as natural monuments, and locations for TV dramas. We will guide you with each feature such as the safe course used as.
Snowshoes and snowshoes are tools for walking on the snow that even beginners can easily use. If you are confident in your physical strength, you can enjoy it from children to the elderly. You can walk, see, feel, and walk around with your own feet, so you will be able to quickly notice and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.

Plan attractions
Lake Aoki area course We will observe nature with folk tales such as local history, legends, folk tales, and people's lives. Enjoy quizzes about plant names from deciduous trees with winter buds. You may encounter an antelope. Courses can be set in 1 to 3 hours if desired. Please contact us.
Otanihara course Hike in the quiet woods near the river. You can find the footprints of animals such as antelopes, rabbits and foxes.
Itanisato Marsh 2-hour course A course with attractive quiet marshes designated as a natural monument of Nagano Prefecture. You can also see the academically valuable disjunct distribution of Acer pycnanthum, which is designated as an "endangered species ll" in the "northern limit of native species".
Nakayama Kogen Course A safe course even for those who are new to snowshoes.
