Experience the weaving of traditional textiles at the highest level of machine used by weavers and visit the workshop half-day This is a course plan. Original postcard presentation. You can also shop. One weaving machine for the weaving experience is available. Height standard 150cm. There is only one type of fabric that can be woven (see photo).
At the studio tour you can visit the textile artist · Nishikori workshop of Mitsunari Tatsumura. Mr. Tatsumura worked on the conservation and training of traditional techniques, those who worked on restoring Shosozakuya "green area flower birds and animals" such as Kyoto · Tokyo National Museum's collection. You can see it with commentary, such as Nishiki woven work / restoration crack / tall machine / textile material. You can also shop. We also wanted to try weaving once, we want to touch traditional culture, children's freedom research, training tour etc. We are using it.
This is the only experience in Japan where weaving high-end machines can only be done here. You can weave traditional woven fabrics while feeling the skills of the best craftsmen. You can take it home by weaving a woven fabric with a width of about 46 cm and a length of 16.5 cm (pattern part).

Plan attractions
Experience weaving high-end machines used by professional weavers. Both warp and weft are silk threads. At first, I will explain the operation and start with practice.
Experience weaving a high machine (Takahata). You will gradually get used to it by carefully weaving each work. I feel like I'm a craftsman!
The finished brocade silk fabric. It is one of the sensibilities of silk fabrics in the world. You can take it home by weaving a woven fabric of about 46 cm x 16.5 cm (pattern part).
Restored ancient weaving machine You can take a photo on a valuable ancient high-end machine that has been restored.
Appreciation of Nishikori works (gallery). You can see many Nishikori works with explanations.
