This day tour takes you to Yakushima's most popular route, the Jomon Cedar. The total distance is approximately 22km. It's not easy, but you can do it! A tour guide who lives on Yakushima and loves the island will provide you with full support! See the Jomon Cedar, a tree estimated to be 7,200 years old! Tour Schedule: 4:00-5:00 AM. Pick-up by chartered bus from the trailhead at 6:00 AM. Depart from the Arakawa trailhead, then head to the trolley road, Wilson Stump, and Jomon Cedar, and return around 4:00 PM. Descend from the Arakawa trailhead and return your rental items. 5:00-6:00 PM. Transportation to your accommodation will be provided. *The above schedule is an example. The itinerary may change depending on weather, road conditions, walking pace, etc. Thank you for your understanding. *You will need to stay overnight on Yakushima the day before the tour. (You cannot join the tour if you arrive on the island early in the morning on the day of the tour) *If you are staying at an accommodation outside of the areas covered by the shuttle service (Miyanoura - Awa - Onoma areas), you will need to make your own way to the designated meeting point.

[About the Free Mountaineering Equipment Rental] <How to Apply> After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the "Rental Application Form" where you can select the necessary rental items and enter your size. 1) Mountaineering boots (mid-cut shoes with a water-repellent upper); 2) Rainwear (top and bottom set made of waterproof and breathable material); 3) Backpack (20-30L capacity, water-repellent material); 4) Headlamp (required for early morning climbs); 5) Poles (one per person); 6) Cold weather gear (fleece) (not required in summer (June-September)); ◆How to Pick Up Your Rental Gear: Gear will be delivered to your accommodation free of charge the day before your tour.
