Plan description

A tour of the townspeople's storyteller and the town.
While visiting the Reconstruction Museum and observing the state of the town that is being reconstructed, we will talk about the “awareness” and life that were gained from experiencing the disaster situation, evacuation life, and subsequent reconstruction. If there is time and the weather is good, it is possible to land on Yeouido, which is said to have become a model of “Hyokkori Hyotan Island”.

Otsuchi Town, where many Jomon period ruins can be seen. It is also famous as a scenic spot with one of the most beautiful coasts in Sanriku. At 14:46:18 on March 11, 2011, the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake struck, and a huge earthquake, tsunami, and fire destroyed most of the town. The storyteller who experienced the earthquake tells us about the situation at that time, and what he felt and thought at that time.
