Plan description

Gravity Okutama Base is a private space on the shores of Lake Shiromaru. There is no need to move after the meeting, so you can use your time effectively. The beginner/beginner class is for those who have no experience in kayaking. You will receive a lecture on how to hold and move the paddle on land. You will use a full-fledged single-seater river kayak. You will practice how to control a boat that is easy to turn. Once you get used to it, you can stroll on the lake while enjoying the scenery. Lake Shiromaru is an environment rich in nature. It is a lake surrounded by deep forests. You can see wild birds such as spot-billed ducks and wagtails, and flowers that bloom one after another every week. The guide will show you the best of each season. Lessons are conducted by veteran guides and are limited to 6 people. Even if you are not confident in your physical strength or are not used to exercise, you can enjoy it.

A small group and polite lesson!

Limited to 6 people per class. You can be seen on the water, so you can feel safe and secure. Our guide is a veteran woman with 30 years of kayaking experience, so the lecture is easy to understand and you can have fun learning how to operate the boat. Even if you don't have much muscle strength, you can experience the tricks to moving the boat.

A private space where you can relax

The time spent on land is in a private lakeside space. It is a spacious space where you can move around while keeping a distance from each other. The distance to the lake is short, and the waiting time to get on and off is short. Since the tour is held with a small number of people, the waiting time is also minimal.

Just prepare a change of clothes

All the equipment is available for rental. No special equipment is required. You can participate in your own T-shirt, shorts, etc. (In spring and autumn, it is more comfortable to have rainwear on top and bottom)
