At Yokoyama Bamboo Store, established in Kyoto, who sells products using bamboo and constructs bamboo for building, you can experience traditional craft making using bamboo. In this plan, we will make "bamboo chopstick set".
The bamboo chopsticks you will be making are a set of carbonized sooted bamboo chopsticks. The bamboo is smoked for a week in our own factory, then you can use a knife to cut it to your desired thickness and finish it with sandpaper. It will take about two hours to complete your creation, which you can take home on the same day.
The hand-finished work has a unique handmade taste that is not found in ready-made products. Please leave a wonderful memorial as a memory of sightseeing in Kyoto. From one person to group guests, school trips and corporate training, various people from home and abroad participate in the production and enjoy making it. Please feel free to come.

Plan attractions
Chopstick case included Once you've finished, you can take them home in the chopstick case, which is also made from bamboo.
Choose your favorite dish The bamboo used is smoked bamboo called carbonized soot. Even the same bamboo has different colors, so choose the one you like best.
Shave innocently While looking at the sample, I just keep carving it with a knife. Finally, I adjust it with sandpaper and it's finished.
