延岡の海は東九州屈指のダイビング天国。１００種類以上のハードコーラルや色鮮やかなソフトコーラル、そして熱帯魚の群れがダイバーを出迎えてくれます。
特に冬場は透明度が高く、海水温も１６度までしか下がらないので、ドライスーツで快適なダイビングが楽しめます。

宮崎県の北部にある延岡市には、県内唯一の有人離島・島野浦があります。島民約９００人が暮らす島の南部から東部にかけては大小の岩礁や海蝕洞などが連なり、絶景を形成しています。島野浦一周のクルージングは気軽に楽しめる人気のアウトドアメニューの１つです。

奥行は３０ｍくらいありますが、水深は満潮時でも浅くビギナーでも狙えます。
