その島の正体は「浜島（はましま）」と呼ばれる真っ白な砂でできた島。360度全て海に囲まれた不思議な島です。
この浜島は、海の潮位（潮の満ち引き）によって姿形を変えるため、常に形を変え続けています。潮位によっては、島ごと海の中に沈んでしまうことも。
限られた条件でしか海上に出現しないことから「幻の島」とも呼ばれています。
そんな幻の島こと浜島は、今や石垣島観光の人気No.1スポット。
「生きているうちに一度は行きたい」と話題の浜島には、ツアーでしか行けません。
