普段、登山やハイキングを全くしない自分には丁度良い時間と距離でした。

涼しい山の中を自分たちのペースで歩く事ができました。珍しい虫や花もみることが出来て、少しですがヤンバルの山を体感出来てとても楽しい時間でした。海だけではない沖縄の魅力です。丁寧なガイドありがとうございました。また別のルートで参加してみたいです。

目の前をコノハチョウが横切りすぐ近くの木の葉に止まった。まさか天然記念物、準絶滅危惧種のコノハチョウに出会えるとは！
「やんばるの森」を歩くのに、普通のスニーカーとTシャツ姿で大丈夫かと心配しましたが、連れて行ってもらったのは森の中の狭い道。とは言え歩きやすい舗装道路でした。
でもそこで見たのは、極至近距離でキノボリトカゲ、森の中を滑空しているオオコウモリ、遠くの方でノグチゲラやアカショウビン、蝶々はコノハチョウ、リュウキュウアギマダラ等々、ガイドさんのとても親切丁寧な説明を聞きながら「やんばるの森」の自然の豊かさを身近で感じた思い出に残る2時間でした。
やんばるウォーキングにご参加頂き、ありがとうございました！やんばるの森は生き物の宝庫ではありますが、見たい生き物に必ず会えるとは限りません。
ですが、今回はコノハチョウをはじめノグチゲラなどにも会え、やんばるの自然たちがウェルカムしてくれたんだと思います。まだまだ奥深い魅力がたくさんありますので、また遊びにいらして下さいね^^
