Although he loves the sea, he actually grew up in the mountains of Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture. In his late teens, his dream was to cycle around the world, but while practicing, he discovered windsurfing and became addicted to many marine sports. Now he's a middle-aged man who likes alcohol and is crazy about foiling.
In college, he was a member of the ski club. He went diving during a summer trip to Okinawa when he was 20 years old and fell in love with the ocean. Since then, he has gained experience as a diving guide in Okinawa, Ogasawara, and the Tokara Islands of Kagoshima. After trying SUP in Amami, he became obsessed with SUP and is currently practicing foiling. He may not know much about the city, but he can be trusted when it comes to the ocean.
