Hida Takayama, a mountainous area in Gifu Prefecture, is a beautiful townscape that retains the remnants of a castle town built in the Edo period against the backdrop of abundant nature surrounded by the mountains of the Northern Alps. It is a town where traditional culture is alive and well. Many historical buildings built from the Edo period to the Meiji era remain in the city center, and the Kusakabe family house is the largest and best private house in terms of building technology, design, size, etc., and is an important cultural property of the country. It is designated as a property. Currently, the interior of the building is open to the public as the Kusakabe Folk Crafts Museum, and it is popular with people visiting Takayama as a cultural facility that displays traditional crafts of Takayama and other folk crafts.

日下部民芸館は小学校の時に授業で行きましたが、今日のオンラインガイドツアーで高山の商家の歴史や建物のことをミュージシャンの方の楽しくてわかりやすいガイドで説明してもらえてあらためて知ることができて。ゲストの舞踊家、谷口裕和さんのお話も興味深く、最後に本当にひだやんさを踊ってくれて素敵でした。
