宇喜多窯【GEMBAモノヅクリエキスポ】 features

Kutani ware studio where old Kutani and music are mixed away from the hustle and bustle [Kengo Ukita] Born in 1948 in Ukiyanagi-machi, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Around 20 years old, he became the second generation Tokuda Yasokichi, and after training for about 3 years, he entered the school corporation Tokyo Gakuen and Tokyo Designer Gakuin. While commuting to school, I performed music activities with friends I met. After that, he returned to Ukiyanagimachi, Komatsu City and started his activities as a painting craftsman. Exhibited at the exhibition. In 1995, we moved from Ukiyanagi-machi, Komatsu-shi to Hase-cho and opened the Ukita kiln. The works to be exhibited in exhibitions are created from the ground by my own hands, and many works with jazz and musical instruments as motifs are produced. While many of Kutani ware's paintings have classic patterns with motifs such as Kacho Fugetsu, works inspired by musical instruments and music are highly evaluated at the exhibition, although Kutani's basic painting techniques are a major premise. I came to receive. His motto is "how to look fashionable", and he continues to create unique designs that match the sense of the times.
