We aim to "increase the number of mountain climbers" and "promote safe mountain climbing." We believe that by providing the three infrastructure elements of "tools," "information," and "opportunities," more people will be able to enjoy spending time in the mountains. We offer free rental of mountain climbing equipment so that those who already have their own equipment can reduce their load and travel light, and even those who have never climbed before can enjoy Yakushima trekking safely and securely. Experienced guides who live on Yakushima will provide thorough support and introduce the nature of Yakushima from a familiar perspective.

More than 70% of Yamakara Yakushima tour participants are beginners. It is not uncommon for them to even touch mountain climbing equipment for the first time. Please read the information on the tour page and in the email after application about advance preparations, the contents of the equipment, and how to use it. There is also a video! Of course, you can ask the guide on the day of the tour if you don't understand something when you actually touch it! On the day, an experienced guide will guide you! We will do everything we can to ensure that everyone can enjoy mountain climbing safely. However, it is none other than your own two feet that actually take you to your destination. If you incorporate light exercise (climbing stairs, walking, etc.) into your daily routine before participating in the tour and build up your physical strength, you will be able to enjoy the tour with more ease!
