Located in Japan's largest peninsula, the Kii Peninsula, Wakayama Prefecture is located in Koyasan, where Kobo Daishi Kukai opened, Kihoku, where Wakayama Castle is located, Kinan, where Yuasa and Ume no Sato are the birthplace of soy sauce, and Kumano Kodo. It is divided into three areas, "Kinan", which is famous for its beautiful coral reef sea.
Camping experience that can be reserved from this site
It is a plan where you can freely set up your own style camp in the untouched forest of 15500 tsubo (51383 m2) and stay overnight. Check-in is from 13:00 to 17:00 and check-out is from 7:00 to 11:00. The reception/administration building has a kitchen, toilet, and rest area.

Kihoku area camp facility
It is easily accessible within an hour or two from Osaka, and you can easily visit it on a day trip from the city, so many people from outside the prefecture who want to enjoy a "petit outdoor trip" visit on weekends.
