[Okinawa, Naha] Salt making experience on Kokusai Street
Seawater is heated and the salt is made while evaporating the water to prevent it from burning. If you evaporate the water slowly, you will get fluffy salt, but if you evaporate the water vigorously over high heat, you will get coarse salt. Why not try making your own salt? You can take it home in your favorite container, either a lucky charm bag or a jar. Beautiful crystals will also form while you are making the salt! Make a wish and make it.
