Tickets for the Arashiyama Torokko can be purchased in advance or on the day.

Advance tickets for individuals can be purchased at major travel agencies from one month before the boarding date, and can also be purchased at some counters in Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara prefectures. .
Group advance tickets can be purchased from major travel agencies from one year to two weeks in advance.

Please note that group seats cannot be reserved for the Rich-go mentioned above!

Same-day tickets can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis between 8am and 9am at Torokko Saga, Arashiyama, and Kameoka stations. .
Same-day tickets are sold for one day, so be sure to purchase a time ticket that matches your travel schedule.

If you're aiming for a same-day ticket for the Rich, which has a limited number of seats, we recommend purchasing early at the station!

Arashiyama A place where you can ride a trolley

The Arashiyama trolley can be boarded from any of the four stations above. Flat one-way fares is .

The fare is 880 yen for adults and 440 yen for children, which is half price (as of June 2023).
