33km (about 50 minutes) from Tsukiyono IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway on Route 17 21km (about 35 minutes) on Route 17 from Yuzawa IC

If you arrive by train

From Joetsu Shinkansen "Echigoyuzawa" east exit, about 50 minutes in the "bus"

If you arrive by other means of transportation

If you come by plane, it takes 25 minutes by airport bus from Niigata Airport to Niigata Station in normal times. From Niigata Station to Echigo Yuzawa Station, take the Joetsu Shinkansen for 45 minutes in normal times.
