Plan description

This is a tea mat weaving experience at the Genta Dyeing and Weaving Studio. Just choose your favorite color of thread and weave! From small children to the elderly, even first-time weavers are welcome♪ Foreigners can also enjoy weaving with hand gestures and go home. We have received comments that it is "pretty good" as a mouse pad. Since it is an indoor activity, you don't have to worry about the weather. You can experience it in the quaint workshop inside the castle of Aya International Craft. Staff who have been weaving for nearly 50 years will teach you carefully. ~ Flow of the day ~ ① Choose thread Choose your favorite color from the prepared thread. ② Staff explanation Staff will explain how to weave while demonstrating. ③ Weaving experience Feel free to weave. If you are quick, it will take about 15 minutes. ④ Finishing Staff will finish the fringe and it's finished. Please take it home and enjoy it.

Weaving a one-of-a-kind tea mat

All you have to do is choose two colors of weft threads of your choice and weave them, but various patterns will appear depending on how you weave them. It's up to you how you weave. Just weave with all your heart, and you'll have a cute tea mat. Once it's finished, our staff will finish the fringe and give it to you on the spot.
