Jump on your bike and head out into the fresh air and open rice-fields of the countryside.

Follow your guide along cherry-blossom tree lined roads on the banks of northern Japan's longest river, the Kitakami River.Be welcomed by towering red Torii gates that lead to picturesque local temples, and call in to check out the grounds and take a break. Back on your bike, your next destination is one of several local favorite 'hanami' (flower viewing) locations where you'll enjoy a picnic just like the locals – with a delicious Japanese-style 'Obento' (lunch box) .To fuel your energy for the last leg of the journey, stop by a unique cafe inside a temple and catch your breath over some tea or coffee and a Japanese dessert!
