Easy to enjoy the wetlands!

The attraction of Komagome Marsh is its easy access. There is almost no difference in elevation from the parking lot, so it is physically easy. We will guide you through the seasonal flowers (plants) of the Komagome Marsh.

The Komadoshitsugen?

Komagome Marsh is a marsh located at an altitude of 1,100m between Minamiaizu Town and Showa Village. A treasure trove of precious plants peculiar to the marsh, skunk cabbage, cotton grass, and day lilies are wonderful. It is a national natural monument consisting of three marshes (Otani, Shirakaba and Mizunashi), and you will be able to enter the marsh as the snow melts in late May. Especially the large community of Watasuge in June is worth a visit! It is an interesting carpet with a high density of Watasuge.

Other notifications	Features of Komadoshitsugen, while an altitude of 1100m, you can go to near by car. Wetlands of the entrance you will see and climb about a 5-minute walk from the nearest parking lot. Wetlands located in the front (Oyachi wetlands) can be one lap in less than an hour. Can go easily from Oze, it is popular. Since almost no difference in height, you can enjoy a relatively easy wetlands.
