Northern Alps International Art Festival 2024 will be held from Friday, September 13th, 2024 to Monday, November 4th, 2024. View art on SUP upon request. If you wish to view it, you will need to purchase a viewing passport or individual viewing ticket. Rent a bicycle and enjoy a leisurely cycle around Shinano Omachi at the foot of the Northern Alps, which is rich in nature and feel the changing seasons. Lake Aoki is the largest and quietest of the three Nishina lakes. The water is mysteriously blue and clear, and Hakuba Sanzan and Mt. Jigatake are projected onto the deep blue surface of the lake, creating a wonderful scenery. Total length: Approximately 7km, time required: 1 hour Lake Aoki/Lake Nakatsuna Round Course This is the course for the 2005 Economy, Trade and Industry Minister's Flag Competition and All Japan Business Group Cycle Road Race. While looking at the Hakuba Sanzan and Mt. Jigatake, in the spring you can walk among the giant cherry trees on the west bank of Lake Nakatsuna, in the summer you can take a forest bath through the tunnel created by broad-leaved trees and conifers on the north shore of Lake Aoki, and in the autumn you can enjoy the changing colors of the autumn leaves. Cycling while feeling the changing seasons. Total length: Approximately 9 km. Time required: 2 hours. Lake Aoki, Lake Nakatsuna, and Lake Kizaki. Lake Aoki for contemplation, Lake Nakatsuna for fishing, and Lake Kizaki for excursions are collectively called the ``Three Nishina Lakes.'' The mountains of are projected onto the surface of the lake.In late May, rape blossoms are in full bloom between Lake Nakatsuna and Lake Kizaki.Lake Kizaki is the lake that was the setting for the anime ``Onegai☆Teacher'' and ``Onegai☆Twins.'' Total length approximately 23.5km Required time 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours
This is a course where you can see the 33rd Nishina Fudasho around Nishina Sanko, stone Buddha statues such as Dosojin and Daikokuten, castle ruins, shrines, and cultural assets such as giant trees. Total length about 20km
